ICANN Releases TLD Validation Toolkit

Published 10 February 2009 14:42 by Ross in Validation | Internet | DNS

I just came accross the announcement of a new toolkit for validating top-level domains (TLDs) on the ArticleSnatch blog. The new toolkit hat  has been unveiled by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) for website designers and software application developers so that new top-level domains (TLDs) created since 2001 are recognized in software and online applications.

The ICANN toolkit will save developers and site operators both time and money by eliminating the need to reprogram their systems when a new top-level domain is added.
