Preview of MVC Google / Bing Maps API

Chris Pietschmann's has just written on his blog about a MvcMaps Preview 1 which is a Unified Bing/Google Maps API for ASP.NET MVC.

The project is still in its early stages and this release is just a preview but the code looks fairly promising for anyone wanting to integrate Bing or Google maps in to their application. I know on the horizon we have a web forms project which uses Bing maps which is probably going to be converted to an MVC application so I will be watching the project carefully. The only shortfall I have noticed currently is that the map provider is hard coded in the HTML helper's name. It would be really nice if this was not the case and you could switch the map provider from the web.config.
